  • Blog Sports,

For this shoot I went to one of my younger brother’s travel team games. Overall his team won 3-0 versus the Cherry Hill Tigers. Shooting the event was interesting as I don’t often shoot sports, but always love the practice!

  • Blog #3 Off Campus:

For this one I shoot the Air Force and The Coast Guard preforming their color guard in celebration of Thomas Jefferson’s birthday this past monday. Shooting this one was an interesting experience because I had to step back due to roped off area’s and huge crowds. (Author’s Note: Tumblr destroyed the quality of these photo’s and every re-upload has done the same I’m not sure why)

  • Photo Illustration- How To

The basic concept was very simple and is not hard to accomplish. The first step is to mask out the model you plan on making into a silhouette (ignoring the really awful original photo as long as the model is in the correct shape is ok).

After that create a masking layer.

Proceed to crate the background color layer and add in the color you wish.

Next duplicate the masked out model layer (You’ll need this in order to create the white layer for the ipod).

In the first original layer of the model go ahead and mask the entire thing in black (Use the refine edges tool on the hair if need be).

Next go to Select -> Color Select to grab the color of your wire and select it, then proceed to use a white brush and brush the wire over.

    Add text and your done!!!

I made this photo as an example of music piracy. It has become so common that most people on the streets will admit to doing and half of them barely know its illegal or how much they could be hurting the artists who put so much work into making the music that they, the consumer, are enjoying.,

  • Shooting bless with a dress this year was a lot of fun.  The models really wanted their pictures taken, and the clothing was just an awesome addition. Photo wise, shooting at an ISO1600 is not what I want to be doing with a t3i, but I managed and I think the photos turned out quiet well.

  • Personal Story:

So for this blog post I’m covering a personal story of something huge that just happened in my life this last weekend. My Father and Mother just came back from China with the newest additions to my family. My little sister ,6, Emma, and my ,10, year old brother Elias. This has been a crazy weekend, but it was one I, and my family will never forget.

  • This shoot was interesting for me. These shots are comprised from three different times I went shooting and attempting to get candid pictures. It took some adjusting of taking pictures of people when they didn’t expect it. I was surprised and how nonchalant most people were.  It was hard to find a good well lit area of activity where people were gathering, but I worked with what I got.

  • This shoot was an interesting one. I was shooting while another crew worked on filming a video of the same shoot. Overall the experience was an new and exciting experience. It still had its ups and downs. Shooting with video lighting and without a good external flash was a pain, but working around it forced me to be more creative with my approach to certain aspects of the shoot.
